Is The Reason Presents " Africa
Plumbridge," A New Musical
Based
On A True Story Of One Woman's Fight To
Save
A Homeless, Abused And Institutionalize Young Girl
Chicago,
IL July 16, 2003 - Love Is The Reason, LLC is releasing its newest
endeavor, "Africa Plumbridge," the heart-wrenching
story of a homeless and abused young girl lost in the system
designed
to protect, but instead, allows her to be exploited by the greed
of those with the power.
Conceived
by Chicago Philanthropist Sue Carey, her hope for this true-life
story is that it create awareness for the protection of children
and raises needed money for her foundation, Homeless and Abused
Children's Charity of Chicago and its "Learn to Earn"
program. "I wanted to tell my story of Africa in such a way
that it would help as many children as possible," says Carey.
Co-written with Karen Mendoza and Carson Grace Becker, "Africa
Plumbridge ," a modern-day "Les Miserable," has
all the elements of a hit Broadway show , but with a much higher
purpose.
